Al Deane
As a an editorial photographer, Al Deane has worked for many organisations and publications, including The Sunday Telegraph Magazine, The Evening Standard, EveryChild and English Heritage.
He has travelled extensively, photographing and has had numerous exhibitions including shows in the House of Commons, The Roundhouse; London, Spitalfields Market and Gloucester Rd tube station.
For many years, Al worked with fellow photographer Barry Cawston under the pseudonym Boris Baggs,
criss-crossing the country for English Heritage, in an old London cab and using 5x4 plate cameras. Hand-printed, these images were used for the annual, national EH campaigns, highlighting the importance of conserving our architectural heritage.
For Deanes personal work he chose to shoot in a panoramic format looking at both the natural and man-mad world aroiund him. These are available in several size as archival limited edition ;prints.
